Arm Care Protocol

Arm care isn't a warm-up — it's a daily system, and it's for every athlete who throws: pitchers, catchers, infielders, and outfielders, baseball and softball. We build durability through the cuff, scap, and elbow with band work, plyos, and recovery so you can throw hard, throw often, and stay on the field through a full season.

Cadence — Daily during in-season · 4×/week off-season
01

Daily Activation

  • Crossover Symmetry Activation (Iron Scap series)
  • Band ER/IR & W's — 2 × 12 each
  • Wrist & forearm flossing — 60s per side
  • Plyo ball reverse throws — 2 × 8
02

Post-Throw Recovery

  • Sleeper & cross-body stretch — 2 × 30s
  • Pec minor & lat smash — 90s per side
  • ArmCare.com strength test (weekly check-in)
  • Ice/contrast only if symptomatic — otherwise blood flow work
03

Off-Day Maintenance

  • Long-toss progression based on intent
  • Band pull-aparts — 3 × 15
  • Rotator cuff isometrics — 3 × 20s
  • Tissue work: cuff, lat, forearm
